The Standing Committee on Language Education and Research (SCOLAR) launched the Drama-in-Education English Alliance in the 2008/09 school year to assist primary schools in incorporating and integrating drama elements in their English language teaching. Shakespeare4All & British Council and Hong Kong ArtSchool acted as programme partners in 2008/09 and conducted professional development courses from November to December 2008 for the Alliance schools to equip teachers with the relevant knowledge and skills.
