【e世代.家長童行】系列活動(五)

 

隨著越來越多學校開展電子教學,大家了解子女在課堂應用電子學習的情況嗎?應如何教導子女接收五花八門的網絡資訊?為助家長就電子學習作更佳準備,香港教育城(教城)、教育局及資訊科技教育領袖協會攜手合辦【e世代.家長童行】系列活動,第五場活動於2016年4月16日(星期六)假港澳信義會小學舉行,內容包括專家講座、電子課堂工作坊及攤位展覽。詳情如下:

一.家長在 Y 世代的角色

講者:羅乃萱女士, MH, JP

《家庭發展基金》總幹事

羅女士為資深親子及婦女教育工作者。近年致力關心社會及服務香港的家庭,常獲邀請主領有關家庭和諧、親子教養和兩性相處的講座。羅女士很榮幸於2005年獲頒授香港特區榮譽勳章及2008年獲委任為太平紳士。現為家庭議會非官方委員、香港教育學院校長咨詢小組顧問、優質教育基金督導委員會成員、平等機會委員會委員及香港教育城董事會成員等。

近期著作有《等待,是一種操練》、《我們 彼此連結》、《留一段幸福給自己》、《從心相信愛》、《相信,仍可以》、《愛不容辭》等。現為《經濟日報》、《天使心》、《明報周刊》多個媒體撰寫專欄,並為溫哥華AM1320華僑之聲電台「萱中情」節目主持人及香港電台第五台「香江暖流」嘉賓主持。

 

二.網「樂」欺「零」- 家長如何協助子女免受網絡欺凌的傷害?

吳浩希先生

吳先生乃資深註冊社工,現專責香港家庭福利會青少年網絡教育及輔導服務。吳先生致力於家庭服務、青少年服務及學校社會工作服務,已舉辦超過100場的專業培訓 (對象包括老師、教育心理學家、社工等)及家長教育講座,亦積極於不同媒體講解青少年及家庭因互聯網而起的問題,以及如何教導青少年健康上網,並著有《跳出「網」惑─青少年上網的真實故事與出路》一書。

三.漫談眼睛健康

講者:周伯展醫生, JP

香港眼科醫學院院長、香港醫學會副會長、香港醫學會慈善基金創會會長、亮睛工程慈善基金副主席

周伯展醫生

周醫生為資深眼科專家,於2013年起擔任香港眼科醫學院院長至今。周醫生服務社會不遺餘力,為多個政府組織擔任委員,及不同專業團體和非牟利組織服務,並於1997至2007年期間參與有史以來最大型及最成功的掃盲行動,出任國際獅子會<視覺第一  中國行動>特邀復明大使,於內地不同城市示範白內障手術及培訓國內眼科醫生。為團結同業援助病患者、貧困和低下階層人士,及積極推廣護眼訊息,周醫生先後創立香港醫學會慈善基金及睛彩慈善基金。周醫生曾榮獲多個獎項包括香港人道獎及第九屆世界傑出華人獎,肯定其對社會貢獻和影響。

With more and more schools applying technology in learning and teaching, do you have a full picture of eLearning practice in lessons? How should you guide your children to receive information from the Internet world? Hong Kong Education City (HKEdCity), the Education Bureau and the Association of I.T. Leaders in Education hence jointly organize the series of ‘The Conference for Parent Education on eLearning’. Its fifth conference was held on 16 April 2016 (Saturday) at Hong Kong and Macau Lutheran Church Primary School with seminars, hands-on workshops and exhibition.

Seminars

1. Parents' role in the Y-generation

Speaker: Ms. Shirley Loo, MH, JP, General Secretary of the Family Development Foundation

Ms. Loo dedicated in family and women’s education for many years. Her concentrations are relationship development in marriage, parent-child communication, parenting, family moral education, etc. Ms. Loo received the Medal of Honour (MH) in 2005 and was appointed to be Justices of Peace (JP) in 2008. And she is now a non-official member of the Family Council, Member of Presidential Advisory Group to Hong Kong Institute of Education, Members to the Quality Education Fund Steering Committee, Member of Equal Opportunities Commission and Board of Director to Hong Kong Education City Limited, etc.

 

2. Parents' Roles on Cyber Bullying

Speaker: Mr. Elvis Ng, Manager of Youth Service, Hong Kong Family Welfare Society

Mr. Ng is a senior Social Worker that specialises in online education and counseling services. He is devoted to social work services for family, youth as well as school and has organised over 100 professional trainings for teachers, Educational Psychologists and social works, as well as parent education seminars. Mr. Ng is also experienced in teaching the youth on the health use of the Internet.

 

3. How to Keep My Eyes Healthy

Speaker: Dr Chow Pak Chin, JP, President, The College of Ophthalmologists of Hong Kong; Vice President, The Hong Kong Medical Association; Founding Chairman of The Hong Kong Medical Association Charitable Foundation; Vice Chairman of Project Vision

Dr Chow is a senior eye specialist and president of The College of Ophthalmologists of Hong Kong since 2013. Dr Chow serves in different sectors including government organisations, professional associations and non-government organisations. From 1997 to 2007, he was Honourable Ophthalmologist Ambassador of “Sight First China Action” to demonstrate cataract surgeries and train the ophthalmologists in China. To serve the needy and the underprivileged and promote eye care, Dr Chow founded The Hong Kong Medical Association Charitable Foundation and The Eye Care Charitable Foundation. Dr Chow has received several awards including Hong Kong Humanity Award and The 9th World Outstanding Chinese Award for his contribution to the society.

 

Workshops

Workshops covering different subjects will be conducted in 2 sessions with 6 topics each. You may select one topic from each session to experience the eLessons.
