The Rabbit Story
Graphic provided by BPA
One sunny morning, Bunny rabbit heard the roar of a tiger. He was very frightened to be hunted down and gobbled up by the tiger; therefore, he decided to ask for help. He went to his friend rhinoceros. He said, ‘Hi, my friend, the tiger is chasing after me. Can you send it away with your sharp horns?’ The rhinoceros answered, ‘I can, but now I am busy. Why don't you ask the horse for help?’
Bunny rabbit turned to the horse. ‘My friend, a fierce tiger is chasing after me. Could you please help me?’ he said. The horse replied, ‘I am hungry right now, and I need to find some food. Please ask the sheep for help.’
Poor Bunny went to the sheep, the pig and all his other friends, but felt sad that nobody was willing to help him. He understood that he had to figure it out by himself. He hid under a burrow and lay very still. The tiger did not find him and went chasing after other animals. Bunny rabbit realised that he had to learn to survive by himself, not relying on his friends.
