'Help!!!' Alice and Robin was screaming. Weather was very bad that day, even umbrella couldn't take the wind anymore. 'Typhoon signal no. 8 is on! Come in!!' Uncle Ben urged them to come inside. 'The typhoon is very strong! We can't really walk!' Robin said. 'Oh, my hair!' Alice look all wet and messy. 'It looks fun! I want to go out and play!' Monster seemed excited about the strong blowing wind. 'DON'T GO OUT! IT'S DANGEROUS!' Uncle Ben tried to stop him. 'The wind will blow you away!' Alice warned Monster. 'I am heavy! The wind can't blow me away!' Monster didn't care and kept running out. 'But the winds can blow other things away!' Robin explained. 'HELP!!!' Monster was hit by flying newspaper in the face. He couldn't see the road ahead anymore.

The typhoon season has arrived! A typhoon, or a tropical cyclone, is a storm system formed by a large low-pressure center. The cyclone is accompanied by numerous thunderstorms that produce strong winds and heavy rains. The typhoons are clockwise in the Southern Hemisphere and counter-clockwise in the Northern Hemisphere.

When there is a typhoon, we should always stay at a safe place like home and school. We should not go out to play. Things on the street may be blown up in the air. Things may fall down from anywhere. Even trees may fall down too! The sea is especially dangerous because there will be big waves. Don't go there!
