Story and comic created by CCFamily.
In winter, it is cold and the animals need more food to generate energy and keep themselves warm. But it is always hard to find enough food. So some animals would migrate to a warmer place in winter; some would store up food in summer; some would grow thicker fur to prepare for the cold and some would solve the problem by hibernating.
Animals that hibernate keep sleeping and breathe less. They keep their body temperature low so it needs little energy and requires less food. Some animals hibernate for months and wake up only when spring comes, and some get up from time to time for a snack during the cold season.
