Learning and Teaching

For teachers

5. How do I set up a class?

Click ‘MY CLASSES’ on top menu bar and click ‘+New class’. Enter ‘Class name’ and ‘Class code’ and click ‘CREATE CLASS’. Share the class code to your class.

6. Do all teachers need to set up a class?

It is recommended teachers open a ‘class’ on BrainPOP Jr. for each class to capture learning data. For example, if a teacher is teaching classes 2A, 3C and 5D, then the teacher should open three classes and distribute the three different codes for each class.

7. Why do I have to set up a class?

Without a ‘Class code’, students are unable to access the platform. Therefore, teachers must set up a class to obtain and distribute a ‘Class code’ for each class. Teachers can give assignments to each class and all student activities can be viewed, including self-learning activities.

For students

8. What do I do with a ‘Class code’ given by a teacher?

As you login for the first time, it will land you on a ‘MY BRAINPOP REGISTRATION’ page, where you are required to enter a ‘Class code’. Enter necessary information like ‘Security question’, ‘Answer’, ‘Security image’ and most importantly the ‘Class code’. Then, click ‘CREATE ACCOUNT’ to proceed.
