The seminar on 'Using Online Resources in English Learning and Teaching cum TVnews 2007/08 Award Presentation Ceremony' was held on 4th October 2008 at Carmel Divine Grace Foundation Secondary School. It was well-received with over 100 teacher participation. The TVnews07/08 Awards presentation ceremony took place to award schools and students with outstanding performance in the past academic year. Ms. Fanny Yip, Senior Sales Manager of Longman Hong Kong Education presented the trophies and prizes to the top 5 schools with the highest submission rates, the top 5 schools with the highest comprehension and quiz scores and the top 10 students with the highest submission rates.

Mr. Jerry Chui, a participating teacher of TVnews 07/08, shared with audiences how TVnews programme could be integrated in teaching English Language at school. New features of TVnews programme 08/09 as well as numerous online teaching resources at English Campus and HKEdCity were presented.
