Carbon Footprint refers to the amount of greenhouse gas (mainly carbon dioxide) emission caused directly and indirectly by an individual in his or her daily life.

Carbon dioxide is the gas that causes global warming. It makes the Earth hot. Do you know that what you eat, what you use, what you ride on and even what you throw away every day put carbon dioxide into the atmosphere? We need to reduce carbon dioxide emission. Otherwise, the Earth will become too warm for people to live.
