Synopsis:
Corpse Bride carries on in the dark, romantic tradition of Tim Burton's classic films Edward Scissorhands and The Nightmare Before Christmas. Set in a 19th century European village, this stop-motion, animated feature follows the story of Victor, a young man who is whisked away to the underworld and wed to a mysterious Corpse Bride, while his real bride, Victoria, waits bereft in the land of the living. Though life in the Land of the Dead proves to be a lot more colorful than his strict Victorian upbringing, Victor learns that there is nothing in this world, or the next, that can keep him away from his one true love. It's a tale of optimism, romance and a very lively afterlife, told in classic Tim Burton style.

		Victor : His parents have arranged for him to marry Victoria. During the wedding rehearsal, he puts the wedding ring onto a "twig" which is in fact the finger of a woman's corpse. He is dragged to the "Land of the Dead" by the corpse to be her husband. Victor tries hard to find his way back to the living world.
		Corpse Bride : A woman who was murdered on her wedding night. When Victor accidentally puts his wedding ring onto her twig-like finger, she claims him as her husband and drags him to the underworld.
		Victoria : She is arranged by her parents to marry Victor so that her family can become rich. She meets Victor for the first time on the eve of their wedding and falls in love with him. After Victor "disappears", Victoria's parents try to arrange another marriage for her.
