Question 285 - Talking about future months
Hi Graham,
I have something to ask you.

Do we say:
I can't wait for the coming of July!
OR
I can't wait for July!

Pls confirm

Thanks,
Kimbly
Hi Kimbly
.I can・t wait・ is a common phrase to show that you are excited about a future event.

Using .the coming of July・ is quite formal and old fashioned. I would use these.

I can・t wait for July.
I can・t wait for July to come.

Best wishes
Graham
