A Day In The Life Of An Insect (id:65858) Name : Rachel (rs852103)
2006-08-12
2099
I am a good mother! I lay 100 to 300 eggs at a time. My eggs need blood to grow. Therefore, I fly and search warm-blooded animals patiently but I have to escape from the traps and insecticides. Although I am exhausted, I still use my carbon dioxide sensitive antenna to find my target. I land on the skin of people or animals silently and I pierce the skin skillfully to suck blood for my eggs. I do not want to carry any diseases but the germs like me and I cannot get ride of them. I do not want to cause painful swelling or diseases in people. Although my life span is very short (3 to 100 days), I try my best to look after my eggs. I am a kind-hearted mother, please do not kill me. I am a female mosquito and I am a good mother!
