This summer, I visited Nanjing, Wuxi,Suzhou,Hangzhou and Shanghai and I had an unforgettable trip there.
On the first day, we went to Nanjing.Among all tourist resorts in Nanjing,I like Fuzimiao most.In Fuzimiao,there were many shops and each of them had its own style. Near Fuzimiao,it was the famous Qin Huai River.Suddenly,I had an idea:rowed along the Qin Huai River.Wow!The view was fantastic!
In Wuxi,we paid a visit to Ling Shan Giant Buddha,which is the biggest statute of Buddha in the world.I think it is spectacular.However,because of the time limit,we left without going inside.Wuxi is famous for peaches so mum bought some and I tried them.They were very sweet and juicy! Truly,Wuxi deserves enjoying the reputation.
After lunch,we visited Suzhou,one of the cities I like very much.As yu all know,Suzhou is the “City of Gardens”.Therefore,we visited Lion Grove Garden which is one of the most representative gardens in Suzhou. For me,the scenery of Lion Grove Garden was an appealing poem,as well as a beautiful landscape picture!
Suzhou is the silk capital of China so we also made a visit to a silk factory.Apart from showing us the procedure of making silk quilt,the workers there organized a catwalk for us to enjoy too.Finally,all of us returned home fully supplied.
Tongli was an old but extremely beautiful water-town.The natural beauty of the town was
indescribable.Limpid water,old-style houses,boats and old bridges,etc.All of these created a
peaceful environment.I guess it's the reason why Tongli attracts so many foreign tourists. Peaceful bridge,Lucky bridge and Mcrobiosis bridge are the symbols of Tongli.According to the old costum,we crossed the 3 bridges and I hope everyone is lucky,safe and healthy.
There are words composed by the famous poet Su Dongpo when he compared the West Lake to Xi Zi…On the fifth day, we went to Hangzhou and had a sight-seeing cruise around the West Lake.I was impressed by the intoxicating scenery because it is difficult to find places with fresh air, and beautiful view in HK.To be frank,West Lake is really deserved visiting.I believe,once you come here,you won’t want to leave(The same situation as mine)
Shanghai is an international city.Most buildings are built in European style.So when I was there ,I was like being in Europe. Nanjing road is a paradise for shoppers.Many shops can be found here.As the living standard is very high,the prices are more expensive than HK.Therefore,I didn’t buy anything.However,I had tried some local delicacies,like dumplings,buns,etc. and they tasted good! At night,neon lights glowed to beautify the city with their varied colours.We went to Pudong New Area to survey the night view.Unluckily,it began raining!Everyone was disappointed but I think Shanghai in the rain had another special allure.
On these 7 days,I have broaden my horizon and I know more about Chinese culture and history.I will never forget this memorable trip,even after 30years or 50years.
