Hello.
Welcome to Youth Speak. Today, we will show you ways

|
|
[Turns
to her teacher] |
| Sally:
|
Thank
you Mr Young. That lesson was very good. |
| Peter:
|
Stop!
Cut! We don't speak like that. It's like this: |
|
|
[Turns
to teacher.] |
| Peter:
|
That
lesson was really cool Mr Young. The story was
amazing. I thought everybody would all die
at the end! |
| |
|
|
|
|
[Boy
comes up to his friend who's listening to his MD player.] |
| Peter:
|
Heh
Ken. What's up? |
| |
[Ken
is listening to his MD player, humming.] |
| Ken:
|
[Loudly]
Heh! I bought the latest Coldplay CD last night. It's
so cool. |
| Peter:
|
Coldplay!
They're totally awesome. Can I hear it? |
| Ken:
|
Sure! |
|
|
[Ken
gives the boy one ear of his headphone to Peter. They
both start humming. |
| |
|
| The
School Picasso |
|
[Stephen
is in the common room] |
Stephen:
|
I'm going to hang out with
our new student in school, Jessie. She's hot. |
| |
[Stephen comes out of the room. He meets Jessie and her
friends outside the room. The door is painted as a dolphin.] |
| Stephen:
|
Hi
Jessie. |
| Jessie:
|
Hi!
Sorry. What's your name? |
| Stephen:
|
Oh!
It's Stephen. |
|
|
[Silence] |
| Stephen:
|
Who
painted this picture? It's a mess! |
|
|
[Jessie
looks angry.] |
| Jessie: |
Me! |
|
|
[Stephen
looks shocked.] |
| Stephen:
|
Oh
no I was just stupid. That's...like...Ken said it was
a mess. I think it's totally awesome,
wonderful, amazing. It's perfect. You're... just
like... the school Picasso. |
|
Jessie: |
Whatever! |
| |
[Jessie
walks away. Everyone else laughs.] |
