Lex invites Clark to a museum in Metropolis. This is Clark's first visit to the big city.

A "dirty cop", Sam Phelan beats up another man. Phelan wants him to get case files for him.

Clark goes outside. He sees a man sleeping at a bus stop. A bus driver has a heart attack. His bus starts going towards the sleeping man.

Clark stops the bus. One of the men fighting, Sam Phelan, sees this.

Lex's old girlfriend, Victoria, comes to Smallville. They become "friendly" again.

Chloe writes about strange things happening in Smallville in the school newspaper, the Smallville Torch. The school Principal stops her being the editor.

Phelan goes to Smallville. He finds Lex Luthor. They know each other. Phelan asks Lex about Clark. Lex says he doesn't know him.

Clark goes into his barn. He picks up a police badge and the generator falls on him. Phelan does this to show that Clark has super powers.

Phelan asks Clark to help him. He tells his parents. They are worried. Lex also tells Clark that Phelan is trouble.

Victoria wants Lex to work for her father's company. He wants them to take over both companies.

The Principal makes Lana the new editor. Chloe is angry.

Clark helps Phelan to get files from a safe. In the end, he tricks him. The police catch Phelan.

Clark thinks Phelan has gone. However, the police come to the farm. They find a dead body and a gun in Jonathan Kent's truck. They arrest him. Phelan tricks the Kents this time.

Clark visits his father in jail. He tells him the truth. His father tells him to be careful and not to lose his temper. Lex wants to help Clark as well.

Clark meets Phelan, who wants to steal jewellery from the museum. Clark helps him. Lex goes there as well.

Clark tricks Phelan again. Phelan shoots him but misses. The police shoot and kill Phelan. Clark runs away without being seen.

Jonathan Kent is free and Chloe becomes the editor again. However, she can only write about true events.

Lex looks at videos of the museum. He can see someone running fast. Is it Clark?
