Weekly focus - Food

Jody is really hungry in this week's Smallville.

There are lots of websites about food. You can find thousands of recipes. Here are two chefs that you can see on TV.

Jamie Oliver is British, young and cool. He is also a great cook. Here is his website.
http://www.jamieoliver.net/

For recipes from his programme, Click "previous recipes" on this website:

Martin Yan is the most famous Chinese chef in the world. He cuts food quickly. He has great recipes here. http://yancancook.asianconnections.com/
The BBC has a great website on food. You can learn more food vocabulary in the Glossary.

You can learn more about how food is made at the "Science of Cooking" website. Click here: http://www.exploratorium.edu/cooking/index.html

Some people don't have enough food to eat. The "Read To Feed" website helps people like this and has some fun games. http://www.readtofeed.org/
