Teen Life in America - Community Service

Many schoolchildren in America have to do community service. Their school gets them to help people. These people could be old, sick, young, poor, needing something special like a new playground or better environment. Students find this a good way to know more about the world.

AFS Intercultural Services Ltd is a charity. It helps young people live abroad. This year, more than 100 Hong Kong students are living in countries like America, Brazil, Germany and Finland. It has recently started community service projects as well.
