Synopsis

Can you remember the names of everyone on the boat?
Click on the "Who's on the boat?" section to remind you.

Read about the 8th episode of Sail Away. How much of it did you remember?

The kids finished their night dive. Many of them felt seasick.

They relaxed and swam around the boat.

Some of the kids visited a bat cave on Cat Island. There were hundreds of bats and they were all quite scared. Seeing lots of cockroaches didn't help either.

They went spear fishing next. Some students even caught barracudas.

Two students gutted, cleaned and cooked the fish, which were tasty.

They climbed to the top of the tallest mountain on Cat Island. There was an old church there.

The student had an assignment. In pairs, they had to interview someone who lived on the island.

Aubrey and Geo had to find Emily Johnson. They couldn't find her but, luckily, Zach and Carlos met Emily's grandson. Petra and Alex spoke to a mother and daughter who were shelling peas.

Back on the boats, Aubrey and Geo were swimming at the back of the boat. Aubrey fell in and Nicolas had to go back and get him.

They went to Arthur's Town in Cat Island. It was a public holiday so not many people were around.

Calvin met a priest at his church. He told Carlos to study as much as possible.

Everyone tried to surf, with little success. (You can learn more about surfing here)

The kids have been on the boats for 3 weeks and don't want the expedition to end.

Next week, watch the kids visit a school & lighthouse, try limbo dancing and eat horrible seafood!
