Wheelhouse
Children have the chance to learn how to steer the ship in the wheelhouse. There are many instruments inside: a wheel for steering the ship; a compass to tell directions and also a blind compass for blind children to use; a depth sounder to see how deep the sea is; a control panel which start engines; and a radar for radio detection and ranging.

Life rafts
Life rafts are placed on top of the wheelhouse. In case of emergency, children escape using these life rafts.

Rescue boats
There is also a rescue boat on the ship. It is used during swimming programs, in case of accidents. Also, children learn how to row the boat, which is part of the training program.

Storeroom
Tools needed to repair the ship are all stored in the storeroom. Children are not allowed to enter the storeroom without permission.
