The
kids sail to the Berry Islands. |
| |
Alex
and Petra explain the route on the map. |
| |
They
will end up back in Nassau, where they started. |
| |
The
kids remember the highlights of the trip, like swimming with
sharks and dolphins, the bat cave and diving to wrecks. |
| |
On
Berry Islands they go diving in a blue hole, which is like a
deep lake. They jump off a cliff. Charlotte isn't afraid of
heights as much now. |
| |
They chat
about the trip again, all feeling that they have gained confidence.
They think their parents will be proud of them.
| |
They
get a dinghy (small rubber boat) to the beach and will camp
out one more time. |
| |
They
catch some fish with spears. Aubrey is really good at spearing
fish now. They prepare them for a feast. |
| |
Zach
tries to open a coconut, but he can't. |
| |
Everyone
eats fish, crabs and marshmallows. They sit around the fire
and talk about how much they enjoyed the trip.
| |
The next day, they do their packing. |
| |
They all sail to Nassau on the Buridan. Everyone is getting emotional. |
| |
Off the boat, everyone hugs and there are lots of tears. The kids may never see each other again. |

This is the end of Sail Away, a 1,600km trip in the Bahamas. |
