Synopsis

Read about the 1st episode of Sail Away. How much of it did you remember?

Students start arriving in the Bahamas.

They meet their instructors, Dragan and Nicholas Popov.

They see the boat they will live on. Some of them think it's really small.

They start learning to sail. They have to tie ropes.

One girl, Whitney, feels homesick. She phones her mother and cries on the phone. She'd like to go home but doesn't want to let her mother and school down.

The instructors check the students' swimming. Whitney isn't confident in the water.

Everybody learns to tread water better.

Dragan talks to Whitney about not being scared of coral and sharks. She doesn't look happy though.

The students go underwater for the first time. They see lots of fish and coral.

They are lucky to see whales. Geo thinks it's awesome!

They sleep on the boat and must get up really early.

Aubrey cooked breakfast and everyone liked it.

The students jumped off cliffs.

They camped on the beach and had pizza for dinner. American teenagers love pizza!

They went to a resort and had great fun going down water slides.

The instructors bought food before they sailed away for five weeks.

They taste their last ice cream for five weeks!

"I'm the king of the world," said one boy, but he didn't look like Leonardo Dicaprio!
