Weekly Focus - The Adventure Ship in Hong Kong

Sail Away is about young American students living on a boat. Hong Kong has something like this - The Adventure Ship.

The Adventure Ship
Every year, about 6,000 Hong Kong students go on the Adventure Ship. Many of them have special needs, such as being physically handicapped.

The boat is called the Huan. It has three sails and is a Chinese sailing junk. Click on "Photo Galleries - the Huan" to see pictures of it.

Click on "Virtual Tour" to see a plan of the Huan. You can click on different parts to see more of the Huan.

The Huan has three decks (like floors).

Upper deck: Smaller boats are kept here. You need a ladder
Main deck: Students are trained here.
Lower deck: Students can eat, sleep and shower here. There are even classrooms!
