|
Gordo
has built a brain for the science project. He
asks Lizzie to put her name on the brain, turn
it in and get the "A+" grade it deserves. He does
this because he believes Mr Pettus hates him,
and will not grade his work fairly.
Gordo's
career aptitude test result says he will have
a career that requires him to count up to twenty
one. Then he hears that he has the extraordinary
potential to do anything he wants, and that he
is not doomed to be a Blackjack dealer.

sitting back and just coasting.
He
thinks Gordo has the potential to do anything.
So he uses this technique to motivate him and
to elevate him, hoping that his reach will always
exceed his grasp and that he will fulfil his extraordinary
potential.
