Lizzie McGuire - Radio Drama Project
Stage-2: Hong Kong is cool!

(a) What to do?

Write a drama script, and record the drama on audiotape. Do these for the purpose of a 15-minute show on English language radio.

The topic for the drama show is: Hong Kong is Cool!

(b) Who can take part?

Winners of Radio Drama Project Stage One.

(c) When to send in the script & the tape?

The original deadline of 1 September 03 for entries to the Stage-2 competition had to be changed to on or before 15 October 03 due to a delay in the arrangements to invite teachers to be the judges of the Stage-1 entries. E-mails were sent on 4 Sept 03 to inform the 8 winners in the Stage-1 competition about the judging results and the new deadline.

(d) Where to send in the script & the tape?

Send the 2 items, by post or in person, to:
Terence Lo, Department of English, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hunghom, Kowloon.

*The name of your school

*Your form level
*Your e-mail address
*Your phone number

(f) What criteria to use for judging the scripts?

*Originality of ideas
*Creativity in language use
*English proficiency

(g) Prizes

1st prize: $6,000 scholarship x 1
2nd prize: $4,000 scholarship x 2
3rd prize: $3,000 scholarship x 2

(The judges may decide to withhold one or more of these prizes if the standards of the entries are not sufficiently high.)
