Improve your SBA presentation and group interaction skills
This English Campus website will help you be more confident while talking about English films and TV programmes. It helps students for School-based Assessment. You will see students from Shung Tak Catholic English College give natural and unscripted presentations & group interactions. You will also see the students act common mistakes.
Episode 3 features individual presentations. Episodes 4, 5 and 6 feature group interactions. Each episode has useful tips for SBA. Before you watch, check out User Guide.

This website has information about nearly every film, actor, actress and director you can think of. Write the film's name in the top left-hand box and you will see a film summary and links to all the actors & actresses in the film.
Youth Speak
This English Campus project teaches you a lot of the language used in Hollywood films, such as 'awesome', 'neat' and 'cool'. There are short videos for you to meet John, Gal Pal, Naz and all their friends.
English Campus Film info site
English Campus is building up information on popular English movies. Many of them are on the SBA list of recommended films, such as Harry Potter. You can read summaries and part of the script, do crosswords and find out about the main characters.
Newsround
This BBC website is for teenagers like you. You can get film news and listen to interviews with stars. It also includes British TV shows which you may not know.
Google
Type the name of the film you are watching and this search engine will give you hundreds of links to it. Type '(film name) official site' to go to the main website.
TV.com
You can find out about every American TV show here. There are photos, information about the main characters and summaries of each episode. Click on the A-Z index to find your favourite show.
Script-o-rama
You can see the script for most popular films here. Click on the car on the main page. Choose from 'Film scripts' or 'TV scripts' and download the whole script from your favourite film or show.
Discovery Channel
National Geographic
Type the name of the film you are watching and this search engine will give you hundreds of links to it. Type '(film name) official site' to go to the main website.
Biography.com
BBC (click on A-Z Index)
Many documentaries are made by these four channels. You can search for documentaries you have watched and find out about the latest programmes.
Giving presentations
The man on the main page looks a little scary but this website has lots of good advice on giving presentations, including structure, pronunciation and using note cards.
