Q1. If I am not familarized with the "online application or registration" , can I apply via fax or by post?
Ans: You may apply by fax or mail, please click here
Q2. Can students participate in both pratical and non-practical stream?
Ans: Students can either participate in one or both streams.
Q3. In Non-practical streams, if I am very "productive" to make 3 products, can I submit 3 products in the same/different categories?
Ans: The principle is "One product, One entry". If you produce 3 products, you can allocate them into same stream or different steams.
Q4. Is there any restriction on the number of non-practical entries from each school?
Ans: There is no restriction on the number of non-practical work nomination. Students only have to declare their respective category(ies) when submit the work on March 2010.

Q5. If I build a webpage which contains an creative article, can I enter both categories of  "Website" and "Creative Writing"?
Ans: Sorry, each product can only enter one category. Please select one desirable category.
Q6. Why is the new format "Non-practical Stream" included this year?
Ans: We know that our students are well developed in multiple-intelligence. Learning outcome in Chemistry can be expressed in diverse ways. Also, new formats conform our newly implemented senior form schooling.
Q7. Is there any difference by using different CMI or EMI for the HKChO?
Ans: Students can opt for the language that they prefer to use. Awards in this competition are based on students ' quality of work, presentaiton, and their chemical knowledge, irrespective of language used.
