Activity:

The word 'Vikings' means 'fighting men from Scandinavia'. They attacked the coastal villages in England, Scotland, and Ireland. They stole treasure and carried people off to be slaves. Imagine you live in Tai O village on Lantau Island 500 years ago. Vikings attack the village. What would you do? Write an imaginative adventure.

Kate AU 2006-09-06	Kate Au 2E If vikings attack the village,i would form a team to protect the village and had a war with Vikings.I would not give up,because i thought protect the village is the duty of the person who live in the villages.So i would not give up although our team weaker than them.

Karen 2006-08-28	Before they attack the village, i would encourage people to sat a grotto.Put some food ,water and your property on it.if they attack the village,you could hide yourself on it,so they cannot got anything in the village. Therefore they would not go to this village next time.
