In this story, Jack and Annie are stuck on cracking thin ice in
the Arctic. At the same time, a big polar bear is approaching them.
Imagine you are in the same situation. What would you do to escape?

If i were in the same situation, i would try to stand on the same place and do not move until the polar bear is far away from me. Because the bear maybe think that i'm not a living thing.
also i will not run away becase the bear can run fast than me.

I were them, I would sleep on the floor and try to find the chance to escape,because I've heard that bear won't eat died body.
Or I would made friend with the polar bear, because polar bear can swim,it could help me to exit the cracking thin ice.

If I were in the same situation, I would try to be a friend with the polar bear, play with it everyday. I should have been to the bear. However, I would have a plan stealthily, in order to kill the bear one day. If I make friend with it, it would trust me and would not have a strong suspicion about me. Collecting some woods, ground the wood to look like a saw. I would finish the work as soon as possible, therefore, I could back home quickly. Because I had left home for a long time and my family might miss me. After I killed the bear, I would back home with its skin. And I could in the newspapers or on television because of my brave and clever.

If i were in the same situation,i think i should run as fast as possible.Then, find one place where only have one exit and use a lot of stones to block the exit.When anything is ready,i would make a phone call to the police since the place can receive the signals.If can't telephone to anybody,I should stay at there for a night and wait the polar bear go to other places.
