The American Civil War was very bloody. More than 50,000 soldiers
were killed, wounded, or went missing. Many buildings, including
churches, schools, colleges and courthouses were turned into hospitals
to treat wounded soldiers. Virginia went to many hospitals to find
her father and brother.
Imagine you were Virginia. What would you do when you saw so many
wounded soldiers? How would you help them? What do you think about the war in Iraq?
You can read another Better Reading Club book, Civil
War on Sunday, to know more about this war.

I don't knwo so much about The American Civil War at all, even who is the final winner, northern soliders or southern soliders. But I do not support any wars.
I am a Chinese, who has a dark history in the dynasty of Qing a few hundred years ago, and even the civil war before WWII. I don't want to see anybody was injured or killed any more in the world.

War kills many people. It's hard to justify the war that kills innocent civilians. I think I will try to help the soldiers in field hospitals.
