"I wear many kinds of clothes, such as T-shirts, sweaters, jeans, skirts and dresses, but I would say in a dressy way with high heels or boots. When I open my closet, I always have to realise that I have too much black, khaki and brown!"
"I mostly shop in small independent stores on the street in Tokyo. I look for reasonably priced clothes that don¡¦t look cheap! My friends from overseas always love to go shopping in Shinjuku, Shibuyu and Harajuku in Tokyo. I personally like to go shopping in Shinjuku and Shibuyu too."
"At the moment, girls in Japan are wearing short pants with colored stockings and boots. Casual one-piece dresses are also in. I thought that Hong Kong girls dress similarly to Japanese. It is less showy and dressy in Hong Kong, which is a good thing. Some young Japanese women wear too much make-up, really high heels and ultra short skirts."

"Hong Kong is amazingly efficient. The MTR is great. It's always on time. I get a bus to school which is also fast and frequent. I have to wait for ages for buses to come at home. My school is on Hong Kong Island so I can easily see the harbour. Many people travel on scooters in Rome . They're quick and can be dangerous."
"I loved shopping in Mong Kok. Shoes are really cheap there so I bought lots, for work and play!"
"I spent a year in America. They care so much less about the clothes there in the US when compared to Japan. I like dressing up in pretty clothes, putting on make-up and try to look very good, but also it is nice not to care too much about how I look. People in the States didn¡¦t care how I dressed. They just looked at me for who I am and they are more comfortable in their own skin. Sometimes that's more beautiful."
"I was in Hong Kong for a week. I took part in the AFS Intercultural Fair. About 1,000 people took part. It was a great event. I made many new friends learnt about new cultures. I hope you will visit Japan soon!"
